Eve in Thailand

My name is Eve. I was born in a very small village in Northeast Thailand. My parents were devout Buddhists and taught me to strictly follow the Buddhist religion.

When I was a teenager I had the opportunity to study at a vocational college. While there, something happened that would change my life forever. One of my friends told me about Jesus! I was very interested and studied the Bible with other students, but I didn’t feel confident enough to ask Jesus into my heart until nearly three years later.

It was very difficult for me to become a Christian because my whole family is Buddhist, and I did not want to make them angry. Honestly speaking, I feel that I was truly “born again” about four more years after that first prayer.

Now, I am glad that I know Jesus and can serve Him. I know that I will never, ever leave the Lord, because He is so real. He is the truth and the life. I am in ministry now, discipling, training, and equipping university students to serve the Lord. My family members are still Buddhists. Please pray for them with me.
